Fancy a bit of Ronaldo?
Would you pay £1.25 million for a house with a broken window, debris in the garden and dart holes in the wall? What kind of a bargain is that, we hear you say. Would you change your tune if we told you Christiano Ronaldo used to live there?
Christiano Ronaldo’s former home in Cheshire, near Manchester, is currently up for sale. The five bedroom, three storey mansion has been valued at £950,000, but the seller’s hoping to make around £1.25 million because of the Ronaldo factor.
We’re going to be a bit cheeky here and say that the seller might get more if he just cleaned up the traces left behind by Ronaldo’s crazy lifestyle, like the window he broke while kicking around with his football, and the shards of a broken TV which he used as target practice. Couldn’t he afford to buy a goal net?
And then there’s the curtains. If Ronaldo’s ridiculous taste in fashion is anything to go by, the curtains he personally picked out aren’t going to be doing the house any favours.
Anyway, if you’d like to buy a house for £1.25 million and then fix the window and maybe burn the curtains, you should go check out the ad on Gumtree.
This story’s been reported in the Daily Star and thelondonpaper as well.
There is also a video of the house on Youtube.
If you love to collect bits of former Manchester United players trivia, you might like to know that David Beckham’s childhood home was also advertised here in 2008. The standard Victorian terrace in Leytonstone received a £1 million offer. Read about it in the Mail Online.
