In recent weeks we’ve made a few changes to the site, which will hopefully make selling even easier on Gumtree.com.
We’ve updated the form you fill in to post an ad, and nearly half of you are now advertising using this new method. Read more here.
You can now add a website to your ads, which can help you to drive traffic to your site, and include more information and offers than Gumtree might allow you.
You simply add your address when you are posting an ad, and it costs £5:
Then, when your ad goes live, your web address appears at the top of the ad, right next to your headline.
Should want to add a website to your listing, just log in to Manage Ads
Finally, if you advertise in the ‘For Sale’ or ‘Cars, vans and motorbikes’ categories, we’re working on a way for you to bump up your ad by phone, rather than online. It’ll only take a minute, and will cost the same as doing it online. We’ll have more details here in the next week or so.
