Gumtree readies new TV ad campaign

Gumtree returns to TV screens with the launch of a new national advertising campaign.

The free classifieds website, which 13.7m people in the UK use to buy, sell and swap all manner of items, hit screens last week during Coronation Street on ITV1.

Its latest ad campaign, which will run for five weeks and will also air on Channel 5, follows the site’s first foray into TV advertising last August.

On the back of lessons learned from that debut TV campaign, Gumtree has revised its strapline. The two new 10-second ads, created by (Beta), finish with the message: ‘Stick It On Gumtree.com’.
